Makara rashifal today
This page is identical for every person with a Makara Moon, which is about one person in twelve. It knows your Moon sign and nothing else. Anything that claims to know more from a Moon sign alone is guessing, and so this page prints what the sky is doing relative to Makara, with degrees and dates, and stops there.

Chandrashtama for the next two months
Chandrashtama is the Moon crossing Simha, the 8th sign from Makara. It comes round about once a month for two days or so, and is traditionally a stretch to avoid beginning anything.

What this page cannot see
- Your ascendant, so it cannot say which house of your life any of this falls in.
- Your running dasha, which decides whether a transit is felt at all.
- Your ashtakavarga, which decides how much the house a planet is crossing can actually deliver.
- Anything about you that is not your Moon sign, which is why there is no lucky colour, no lucky number and no score here.
So here is the reading that is about one person.
Everything above is shared by everyone with a Makara Moon. It cannot see your ascendant, so it cannot say which house any of this lands in. It cannot see your running dasha, which decides whether a transit is felt at all. The full reading can, because it starts from your birth minute.
- Every transit on this page, placed in your own houses
- The dasha running underneath it, dated to the day it changes
- How much each house can actually deliver, from your ashtakavarga
- Dated windows for marriage, work, money and health
10 written sections, 10 years forward, about 29 minutes to read. Written in five to ten minutes, in English or Hinglish, and emailed to you.
Not ready to spend Rs 258 on a site you found today?
You have no reason to trust a stranger's website with a birth chart yet, and we would rather you did not. Start with the free reading instead: it describes what you are like from your birth minute alone, and if it does not sound like you, you should not pay us anything about your future.
Whichever you start with, the Rs 79 is credited, so the full reading is Rs 179 afterwards and the total is the same either way. A price we quote you never goes up.
Already bought the back-cast? It comes off the price, so yours is Rs 179 + GST and it is one tap in your reports.
Rashifal for the other Moon signs
How this is calculated
Positions come from Skyfield and the JPL DE440s ephemeris, with our own Lahiri ayanamsa referred to the mean equinox of date. Every planet agrees with Swiss Ephemeris to under one arcsecond, and the lunar node to under a tenth of one. We publish that because nobody else in this market publishes theirs.
- Skyfield. The astronomy library that computes every position on this site.
- JPL planetary ephemerides. NASA JPL's ephemeris export page. The DE440s kernel we load is the source of every raw planetary position.
- Capitaine, Wallace and Chapront (2003), IAU 2006 precession. The precession expressions our Lahiri ayanamsa is carried forward with from its J2000 anchor.
- Positional Astronomy Centre, Kolkata. The India Meteorological Department office that publishes the Rashtriya Panchang, which defines the Lahiri ayanamsa.
- Swiss Ephemeris. The reference implementation we test against: under one arcsecond on every planet. It is used only in our test suite, never on this site.
