The calculators
Kundli Milan, and the working behind the number
Ashtakoot guna milan for two charts: every koota scored, both sides shown, and Mangal, Nadi and Bhakoot dosha reported with their classical cancellations.
The Moon is in Krittika now: Rakshasa gana, Antya nadi.
Your Sade Sati, with the dates
Find out whether Shani Sade Sati is running for you right now, which of the three phases you are in, and the exact dates each phase starts and ends. Free.
Running now for Mesha, Kumbha, Meena Moons.
Are you Manglik, and does it still apply?
Check whether you are Manglik, how strong it is, and which classical cancellations apply. Most free tools report the dosha and skip the cancellation.
Mars is in Cancer at 22°27′ today.
Your janam kundli, calculated properly
Your birth chart with planets, houses, nakshatras, dignities and six divisional charts. Computed from the JPL ephemeris and free, with no signup.
The Moon is in Taurus, Krittika pada 4, right now.
Your dasha periods, to the day
Your full Vimshottari dasha sequence with real dates: mahadasha, antardasha and pratyantardasha, plus the sub-period running today and the day it ends.
A child born now starts in a Sun mahadasha.
Your lagna, and whether your birth time is good enough
Your rising sign, its exact degree, and how many minutes of birth time you have before it changes. No other free tool tells you when your chart is a coin flip.
Sagittarius is rising over Delhi about now, at 1°49′.
Kaal Sarp Dosh, checked honestly
Whether all seven planets really do sit between Rahu and Ketu in your chart, which type it is, and why a partial formation is not the same thing at all.
Right now the planets sit on both sides of the nodes, so a chart cast this minute has no Kaal Sarp.
Panchang, for the day and the place you ask for
Tithi, nakshatra, yoga, karana, sunrise, sunset and the Rahu Kaal window for any day and any Indian city, computed from the JPL ephemeris.
Delhi today: Krishna Tritiya, Wednesday, Krittika nakshatra.
Choghadiya, today and for any date
Today's eight day and eight night choghadiya for your city, timed from local sunrise and sunset, with Amrit, Shubh and Labh marked and the method shown.
Delhi now: Kaal (inauspicious) until 10:41 AM.
Hora, the planetary hours
The 24 planetary horas from today's sunrise, twelve by day and twelve by night, each with its ruling planet and clock time for the place you choose.

Questions
Are these calculators really free?
Yes. They are deterministic Python on our own ephemeris, so running one costs us almost nothing, and there is no signup, no email and nothing stored. The paid product is a written reading, not these.
Why do the answers differ slightly from other sites?
Almost always at a boundary: a planet a few arcminutes from a sign change, or a date within a day of an ingress. We compute from the JPL ephemeris, refine each crossing by bisection, and print our method on every page so you can check which of us is right.
Which calculators need my birth time?
The kundli, lagna, dasha, Mangal Dosha, Kaal Sarp and milan calculators do, because they depend on the ascendant or the Moon at birth. Sade Sati needs only the Moon sign. The panchang, choghadiya, hora and Abhijit pages need a date and a place, and nothing about you.
How this is calculated
Positions come from Skyfield and the JPL DE440s ephemeris, with our own Lahiri ayanamsa referred to the mean equinox of date. Every planet agrees with Swiss Ephemeris to under one arcsecond, and the lunar node to under a tenth of one. We publish that because nobody else in this market publishes theirs.
- Skyfield. The astronomy library that computes every position on this site.
- JPL planetary ephemerides. NASA JPL's ephemeris export page. The DE440s kernel we load is the source of every raw planetary position.
- Capitaine, Wallace and Chapront (2003), IAU 2006 precession. The precession expressions our Lahiri ayanamsa is carried forward with from its J2000 anchor.
- Positional Astronomy Centre, Kolkata. The India Meteorological Department office that publishes the Rashtriya Panchang, which defines the Lahiri ayanamsa.
- Swiss Ephemeris. The reference implementation we test against: under one arcsecond on every planet. It is used only in our test suite, never on this site.
