The lord of Mula and its dasha
Mula is ruled by Ketu. A Moon in Mula at birth begins life in a Ketu mahadasha, which runs 7 years in full, shortened by however much of Mula the Moon had already crossed.
What Mula signifies: the root; getting to the bottom, destruction that clears ground.
Knowing Mula is the start. Where it sits in your chart is the reading.
Everything on this page is true for everyone born with a planet in Mula, which is a very large number of people. Which planet you have there, which house it falls in, and when its dasha runs are what make it yours, and that needs your birth minute.
- Which of your planets sit in which nakshatra, and what each one does in your chart
- Your Moon nakshatra's dasha sequence, dated to the day each period changes
- Marriage, work and money read from the whole chart, with dated windows
- The working beside each section, so an astrologer can check it
10 written sections, 10 years forward, about 29 minutes to read. Written in five to ten minutes, in English or Hinglish, and emailed to you.
Not ready to spend Rs 258 on a site you found today?
You have no reason to trust a stranger's website with a birth chart yet, and we would rather you did not. Start with the free reading instead: it describes what you are like from your birth minute alone, and if it does not sound like you, you should not pay us anything about your future.
Whichever you start with, the Rs 79 is credited, so the full reading is Rs 179 afterwards and the total is the same either way. A price we quote you never goes up.
Already bought the back-cast? It comes off the price, so yours is Rs 179 + GST and it is one tap in your reports.

How this is calculated
Positions come from Skyfield and the JPL DE440s ephemeris, with our own Lahiri ayanamsa referred to the mean equinox of date. Every planet agrees with Swiss Ephemeris to under one arcsecond, and the lunar node to under a tenth of one. We publish that because nobody else in this market publishes theirs.
- Skyfield. The astronomy library that computes every position on this site.
- JPL planetary ephemerides. NASA JPL's ephemeris export page. The DE440s kernel we load is the source of every raw planetary position.
- Capitaine, Wallace and Chapront (2003), IAU 2006 precession. The precession expressions our Lahiri ayanamsa is carried forward with from its J2000 anchor.
- Positional Astronomy Centre, Kolkata. The India Meteorological Department office that publishes the Rashtriya Panchang, which defines the Lahiri ayanamsa.
- Swiss Ephemeris. The reference implementation we test against: under one arcsecond on every planet. It is used only in our test suite, never on this site.
